Oh, yeah…

I forgot…

Halloween & Good News

Sorry it’s taken me so long. I had a few large orders this weekend, including my first wholesale order. I dropped that off today, so it’s official: If you are local, you can now find my cards at the Postnet on Road 68. Yay! I have a few more things in the works right now, but that’s my big announcement for today. So locals, do me a favor- go buy a card and tell them that they simply MUST order more of these fabulous cards!

Now, here are my favorite pics from Halloween. Scott was Batman, Sierra was a pretty witch, and Venice was a butterfly. They had fun, but it turns out that there are no other kids around here so they were the only trick or treaters. One neighbor said that they were the first kids in 5 years to know on their door! Crazy stuff!

Still no internet

okay, just a quick update becuase it’s been so long. We got mostly everything moved on Saturday, and we’ve been slowly cleaning out the rest of the apartment. Charter was supposed to get our phone/internet/cable hooked up on Monday, but the didn’t have the cable run accross the street, so I called today to check on the progress and they informed me they cancelled the order. Accidentally, of course. GRRR… I really wish we had another option. So now it’s rescheduled for Friday. At that point I will have been without internet for a week. I’m dying I tell ya! So I’m sorry there haven’t been more updates. I promise it will get better next week.

36 hours and counting!

That’s all I have left til moving day, at least as long as the inspection goes as it should tomorrow. I’m excited, but of course overwhelmed at the same time. Hopefully I haven’t lost too many readers with my lack of exciting posts this week. Today I went to the pumpkin patch with Sierra’s class. She had fun with the giant haystack and the hay maze and the petting zoo. It was really cold though, which I wasn’t quite expecting just yet. There was frost on my car this morning too, so the seasons are definitely changing. Another update I forgot to post – Venice had her 6 month well check last week. She weighed in at 16 lbs, 6 oz, and 24.5 inches long. The doc said she’s perfect! Well, I have to go do more packing now, so I’ll leave you with some shots of the mini album that I finished at this weekend’s crop! Hope everyone has a fabulous evening.

Christmas Cards galore

I went to a 24 hour crop from noon Saturday to noon on Sunday and I got so much done! I managed to get 54 Christmas cards, 9 birthday cards and a 6×6 mini album completed. I’ll be sharing some more throughout the week, but for now I’m loving this new line by Little Yellow Bicycle! Some of the papers are foiled, so they look really neat.
